I opened up the fridge late this afternoon, and this began my ge profile refrigerator problems,
to learn the best light and panel was out along with the temps was registering 63F.
Freezer was at -5F . Normal configurations are 37F and 0F. Took photos of the fridge.
Photos are offered on ask for. Removed light panel and bulb. Bulb warm although not hot.

Inserted thermometer probe registered over 200F. I turned the breaker off at the panel for sixty seconds,
then turned it back on. The fridge currently is cooling. I did not substitute the light or even the housing,
and have a thermometer probe within the fridge now, using an external readout so I can monitor cooling.

The refrigerator worked well for 6-7 hours then stopped working once more. GE sent out an additional technician who didn’t do anything but complain that he was already off and was working overtime. And claimed there was nothing he could do. GE sent out a 3rd technician who cut wires, removed the thermostat and didn’t replace it after which stated that this refrigerator was not capable of being fixed.

I asked GE if they would send out a supervisor for a second opinion so they refused to send out any person ever once again.
Next, i known as a local firm along with the technician labored on my refrigerator for three hours and fixed all the bad connections that had been done by the GE technicians. And then, my refrigerator has worked fine for the past 10 days.
